🎥 Independent indie video production with soul
As a freelance video producer and creative editor, my focus is on telling real stories through visuals that breathe with the energy of each performance. This time, I had the chance to collaborate with the band Los Martes to capture their live performance of “El Tren”, one of their most iconic songs.
🎶 About the project
The video was recorded at KUP, in the heart of Mexicali’s historic downtown. This wasn’t a traditional shoot with a closed script — it was about feeling the moment and translating it into visual language through indie-style editing and natural rhythm.
🔧 My role in this project
- Live video production on location
- Independent editing with narrative storytelling
- Color correction and visual polish
- Beat-based cutting and mood sync
- Format optimization for YouTube, Instagram & reels
🎯 Style & technical approach
The aesthetic embraces handheld movement, natural lighting, and organic editing. I focused on syncing visual cuts with the emotional arc of the performance — a raw, honest video that reflects the vibe of the song and the audience’s response.
